While tidying up an old drawer, i found some slides relating to the ascent of Monte Vioz that I had made in July 1981.
I scanned them and tried to eliminate scratches and stains, balance the colours and improve the focus.

Considering the result, not too bad in my opinion, i thought to publish them.

Some information:
Monte Vioz, 11959 ft a.s.l., is a peak of the Ortles-Cevedale group on the border between Trentino and Lombardy.
Just before the peak, on the Trentino side, is the Mantova hut, 11598 ft a.s.l..
Near the hut is a small church dedicated to the Virgin and St Bernard of Menton.
In 2011, unfortunately in my view , the Pejo 3000 cable car, going up to around 9843 ft., was built.
The photos date back to July 1981 and at that time there was the Pejo-Tarlenta cable car, which went from 4593 ft up to 6562 ft a.s.l.
In photo 25 you can see the summit of Mount Vioz, currently, at least it seems to me from the Google photos, they have put up a cross.
