A special satisfying all tastes, art lovers, nature lovers and cookery lovers.

On 8th – 9th – 10th May at the park of the prestigious Villa Malenchini, loc. Carignano, took place the 10th edition of “de gustibus the pleasure of the table and of the open-air life”.
The exhibition gave to the visitors the opportunity of admiring the splendid rooms of the villa, of walking in the park and of tasting the excellent Italian products.

A short history:

the central part was built by the marquises Lampugnini during the 2nd half of the ‘500 and the decoration of the rooms was assigned to the Tuscan painter Cesare Baglioni,
The two side parts were built during the ‘700.
After many changeovers the count Edilio Raggio gave the villa, as wedding present, to his daughter Fortuny who married the Livorno marquis Luigi Malenchini,
The villa is still a property of the Malenchini family.

• The 15 hectares park is part English landscape garden and part Italian garden.
