back to the... future
(Alseno (PC) – Emilia Romagna)

n these days I was in Ferrara visiting this quiet and beautiful town.
Getting across the spectacular square of the St George cathedral I noticed the stalls of a very special market.
Intrigued I came nearer and, at my request of information, I was told that it was not the usual market but it was the display of the works of more or less valid hobbyists.
These days I told myself: maybe it is better also highlighting the works of these keen and skillful artisans.

So, if you want to go to Ferrara, go there when this market takes place and you will admire not only the town but also the works of able even if not famous artists.

open Saturday and Sunday only

A little remark:
It is perfectly understandable that the “quality” has to be paid, but maybe it would be possible to take something off the prices considering that all the products are from the local surroundings and free from the handovers which send the prices up.
