Our friend Nadia shows us a small jewel of the Cadore.

We suggest to the tourists that they should stop skiing or trekking for a while and take the time for visiting this small church (at the crossing for Laggio) and to its frescoes.

A short history:
built between 1344 and 1345, it is dedicated to St Ursula, daughter of the king Dionotus of Dumnonia in south-west Britain, martyred under the reign of the emperors Diocletian or Maximinus.
The frescoes date back to late ‘300 and beginning of ‘400.
The authorless frescoes represent the Virgin and St Christopher on the façade and the legend of St Ursula in the interior.
