Our friend Massimo, on the occasion of the inscription of Padua in the UNESCO World Heritage List, sends us some pictures of the city.
It should be noted that in addition to the Botanical Garden (listed since 1997) in Padua have been recognized 8 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Padua Urbs Picta:
or rather Padua City of the fresco, due to the fourteenth-century pictorial cycles executed between 1302 and 1397 in the following eight buildings in the historic center of the city:

• Scrovegni Chapel
• Church of the Saints Philip and James agli Eremitani
• Palazzo della Ragione
• Cathedral Baptistery
• Chapel of the Carrarese Palace
• Basilica and the Convent of the Saint
• Oratory of Saint George
• Oratory of Saint Michael

adding to the existing heritage represented by the Botanical Garden of the University of Padua.
