To render all the Padua beauties, its monuments and its history our special is certainly inadequate, so we limit to a few glimpses and refer to the many websites talking about it.

Some notes:
It is called the city of the “without” because the Saint Antony basilica is called “the Saint” without saying the complete name, one of the oldest coffee bars, the “Pedrocchi” is, or better was, without doors and finally the big square, maybe the second largest in Europe, Prato della Valle (Lawn of the Valley) has no lawn.

In 2006 Padua was awarded as “the city for the greenery”.

Starting from 1222 Padua hosts one of the most ancient universities the “Universa universis patavina libertas”.
