(Macomer (NU) - Sardegna)

Once again our friend Francesca helps us to discover the mysteries of Sardinia lost in the mists of time and accompanies us to the southern slopes of the homonymous hill in the suburb of Macomer.

A bit of history:
Inhabited by the aboriginal population from 3rd millennium to the early centuries of the 2nd millennium b.C.
It gives the name to an important culture of the Aeneolithic era, the “culture of Filigosa”.
The excavations began in 1965; at the beginning they were managed by the archaeologist Ercole Contu and from 1980s by Alba Boschi.
