Lupi mine in Lizzola |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
The visit will bring you in the bowels of the earth and in the memories of the past to discover how the mining changed through the centuries and how it modified the ground. Now closed down and skillfully restored, the mine still allows you to understand how hard the work of the miners was. Rich in ores, stalactites and stalagmites, the mine produced iron for the blast furnaces of Bondione and Gavazzo and then used for the production of cold steels at Gromo. |
