Gentle hills and rows of cypress trees, olive trees scattered everywhere, narrow streets flanked by high walls, which sometimes block the view of the horizon and accompany you beyond time.
Then, unexpectedly, huge gates open up to centuries-old parks and magnificent villas still looking as if they were inhabited by the noble families, who contributed to building the history and beauty of this region.
Every now and then the walls are interrupted and, in a dominant position usually on hilltops, small isolated stone churches, essential, severe, invite reflection and recollection.

with the exception of churches and a few villas used for ceremonies and weddings, little documentation can be found in the area.
