the old village Madonna della Losa
(Gravere (TO)- Piemonte)

Losa (under Gravere municipality) is an old village towering above Susa. From Susa you can see only the chapel whereas the village remains hidden.

The delightful village is worthy of attention and of a visit, strictly on foot, for not disturbing the quietness and better admiring the village, the landscape and the small church Madonna della Losa.

A special attention is to be paid to the chapel dating back to 9th century and founded by the Benedictines. In the interior you can find frescoes similar to those of the Saint Eldrado chapel at Novalesa abbey.
