At first glance certainly it does not have the impressiveness of the castle of Rodengo or of Castel Wolfsthurn, but the interior with the frescoes, the inlays, the rooms of the prince make this manor one of the most wonderful and most precious monument of South Tyrol.

We remained full of admiration to the frescoes and the inlays, to the rooms of the prince (Fürstenzimmer) with its precious carved panels, the octagonal stove with family crests and scenes from the Old and New Testament but however all these works represent only a small part of the marvels of the castle.
