the Grand Jatte

This time our friend Francesca presents some portraits of an interesting event which took place at the public gardens of Cagliari.
This event brings back us to the late 19th century and artists, artisans and models dress in Victorian-Steampunk style.

A few notes:
the event draws its inspiration from the painting of the French Impressionist Georges Seurat Un dimanche après-midi à l’Île de la Grande Jatte (A Sunday afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte).

The event, at its 7th edition, takes place every year on the last Sunday of May.
