As every year took place the ceremony for the 'premio Carosino', to award the trainee or junior general practitioner/family physician.

The prize was set up to remember the doctor Claudio Carosino who devoted his life supporting sick persons and destitute before being killed just by one of his patients.

Outside the Parma boundaries only a few people know this bright figure that should become a beacon for all the young doctors.

After the examination of several curricula, the 2017 award was given to doctor Clara Pellegrini, specialized in psychiatry, who graduated with honors.

The prize was set up by the association "I Ragazzi del '51" together with the associations "Margherita Barezzi" and "Fidenza for Children".
