Bersani: the land of fairy tales... and the crèche - part 2 of 2
(Bersani di Gropparello (PC) - Emilia Romagna)

Arriving in Bersani, just before the village, one feels great animation. Why so many people in the street'?

But as we continue, we discover the mystery: the creations of two ladies have brought the fairytale village alive and inhabited.
Dozens of human-sized puppets represent almost all the trades one can find in a village.
In front of the houses work the shoemaker, the fisherman, the bricklayer, the shopkeeper, the innkeeper with his tavern. Inside a house is the school with the teacher, the pupils, the old desks, and the blackboard. In other houses, on display, some nativity scenes.

An exciting journey through time and poetry, thank you.

This excellence is due to two friends, Mila Risoli and Marisa Magnani, who have been renewing the event every year since 2014, creating a magical nativity scene with just a few rags.
We can only hope that this achievement will continue for another hundred years.
