We are pleased to talk about the Chiaravalle abbey again, after our 2010 special (Chiaravalle) for almost two reasons:

• First because from 2010 many restorations have been concluded making this complex even more beautiful and charming
• Second because it is a place so fascinating that is a delight to repeat the visit.

As mentioned in the previous special, the best moment for the visit is when it is quite desert, to enjoy its quiet peace.

Possibly try to get there in a sunny day (even if the fog doesn’t diminish its fascination), because the light, creating contrasts with the shadows, brings out its refined colors.

We suggest you to stop at the liquor-store, where it is possible tasting and buying excellent liqueurs made by the monks, together with other natural products.
